Job Description: |

Manage the team and training to provide the technical expertise to all groups within the company and externally to customers.

Develop new revenue opportunities to achieve budget targets while balancing sales support to provide with extreme customer satisfaction.

Manage the team with the highest standards; which includes hiring and engineering team development.
-
Develop an environment inside the engineering group of continuous improvement (Kaizen).
-
Work with training department to develop new classes, improved processes and increasing training revenue.
-
Develop an environment of continuous improvement with engineering & training team to provide all technical knowledge needed for success.
-
Work with global engineering and sales teams to develop and launch industry and business solutions and by providing technical guidance as needed.
-
Support all product and technical groups to meet company goals.
-
Support SMT manufacturing, Software, MEG, through-hole technology, lean/6 sigma consulting.
-
Maintain a high degree of knowledge and understanding of the industry and of methodologies.
-
Improve methods of training clients’ customers through continued improvement of processes and personnel.
-
Track and maintain the budget selling engineering services and products when needed.
-
Provide year or year growth for engineering revenue.
-
Increase training revenue through use of trainers and engineers.
-
Prepare support for the launch of new products: including presentations, demos, marketing information, configuration tool specification, and custom applications.

Provide leadership for trade shows and demos.
-
Work with 3rd party companies to provide solutions to our clients’ customers.
-
Provide the technical consulting to ensure the solution provided meets the needs of the customer’s product.

Answer Pre/Post sales questions for a sales person looking to sell an integrated solution.
Requirements:
-
10-15 years’ experience in engineering or product management with 6-8 of those years with management, including budgetary and staff supervision responsibilities.

B.S. degree in engineering field.

Experience with 2D/3D CAD is preferred.
-
Familiarity and capability in software systems, IT infrastructure, networking, wireless access and programming with expert knowledge of Electronic Assembly.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing process automation methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
-
SMT process knowledge (all steps from bare board to box build).
-
Good understanding of MES software applications.
-
A high degree of initiative, creativity, and trouble-shooting skills.
-
Good Business Acumen.
-
Strong written and oral communication skills.
-
Manage a diverse multinational team of engineers.
-
Must provide leadership to the team and possess key managements skills like decision making, planning, meeting management, and delegation.
