Position: Senior Program Manager of Product Transfer
On-Site Position: Brooksville, FL
The Senior Program Manager of of Product Transfer will be reporting to the Director of Product Transfer. The Senior Program Manager (PM) of Product Transfer is a details-oriented, collaborative leader who works with facility-based customer-focus teams to transfer work between manufacturing locations, manage customer disengagements, and transfer large programs from competitors to Spartronics.
The PM is responsible for the implementation of and compliance to the Transfer of Work (TOW) Phase-Gate process on transfer projects, as directed by the Executive Steering Committee, and includes feasibility assessments, business case development, detailed planning and project scheduling, and management / support of the CFTs responsible for activity execution.

What a Day Looks Like:
Working with the facility-based customer focus teams, actively manage and perform tasks associated with the TOW process for work transfers and disengagements:
Perform work transfer feasibility assessments.
Develop business cases that define the transfer approach and schedule, legal requirements, estimated costs and financial impacts.
Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules.
Develop order transition and delivery support plans.
Ensure that responsibilities are clearly defined, adequate resources are applied, and escalation is utilized to maintain schedule compliance.
Work with the CFTs to identify alternate solutions when obstacles are encountered.
Track operational and financial performance of transferred work and help identify improvement opportunities.
Review completed projects for lessons-learned and improvement of the TOW Process.
Host and / or participate in weekly internal and / or customer project transfer meetings.
Ensure TOW Process compliance:
Ensure that documentation is filed and maintained in the corporate repository.
Schedule and hold Gate review meetings with the Executive Steering Committee.
Participate in and provide monthly TOW project updates to the Executive Steering Committee.
Safety:
Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized.
Requirements
The experience we’re looking for to add to the team:
Education/License/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
10+ years of electronics contract manufacturing experience in a multi-site, global organization.
Detailed understanding of program management, supply chain, and electronics manufacturing / test processes.
Demonstrated financial and business analysis skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, enabling the clear communication of complex information to all levels within the organization.
Demonstrated project management capabilities, including schedule development in MS Project and schedule management across multi-site, cross-functional teams.
Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
Must have led teams in similar types of transformation and have experience with strategic and highly complex business projects that may include client relationship management, strategy, planning, product management, consulting, strategic sourcing, or related work experience.
It is understood that certain minimum requirements are not tested for but monitored for competent capability during the employee’s indoctrination period.
