Abstract:The presentation will focus on the stat of the market and provide up-to-the-minute information on the Coronavirus and its impact on the electronics components supply chain. Peggy Carrieres will review what has happened year to date and how in to can prepare for ongoing challenges. Through the course of 2020 and 2021, we continue to see rapid market cycle changes that are sizing up to have significant impact over the longer horizon.  Peggy works with independent research sources, customer and supplier input, economic indicators and in-house analytics to identify and provide insight into short and long-term supply chain strategies, in order to manage risk and keep production lines operational.

Bio: Peggy Carrieres, VP Global Sales Enablement and Supplier Development

Peggy leads the global efforts that enable sales across Avnet business teams and champions our global supplier engagement and development programs. As part of her enablement and development programs, Peggy is the executive sponsor of Avnet’s business intelligence and market research teams, as well as global demand creation and Avnet’s customer experience feedback systems.  She has over 25 years of experience working in the electronics components industry in strategy, supply chain, pricing, forecasting, sales and customer program management.  Peggy has first-hand experience managing complex supply chains through market cycles that are inherent in the components industry.
