Hi. I'm new in bussines. I have a DEK screen printer and I have to choise solder paste and flux. It has to be lead-free. What do you recomand? Of course it has to be cheap and good. :)

AMTECH NWS-4200-4H3 is the best I have come across for a leaded process. As for lead-free I did some studies and we liked the Indium 3.1 and 5.1.

Get some free samples if you can. We have at least a couple solder reps who would not sell you a jar untill you have tried a free sample first. Preferably with them on site when you try it to help you with any issues that might come up. They want to be sure your screen printer is set up well and your profile is good.

We've tried many of the different brands and we like the FCT SN100. The nickle really makes it spread out and wet nicely.

You add a few degrees to reflow it but we think the results have been worth it.

Your recommendation for Lead Free | 12 July, 2005

Hi,

Have anyone out there been using Asahi products. My knowledge is limited and I only know it from the http://www.asahisolder.com website.

Pls feedback or share your view on the Asahi product. If this product worked better than other even if it has indium in it. It would best to try it.

From what I knew, the world is still engaging in selecting the lead free alloy in the market even though IPC has chosen SAC305.

Do you all feel the same that SAC305 is best of them all?

Awaits for your reply Thanks
