microprocessor project | 7 September, 2000

Hi, my name is Vincent Geesing.

I�m a student computer engineering in the Netherlands. We (me and 3 other guys) are developing a motorized car who can find his way himself. The car must go straight and avoid some obstacles on his way. It drives in a hallway and must correct his pad when comes close to a wall or something. We maybe let it go around a corner of 90 degrees, but we�ll see.

Therefore we must combine the right sensors and controller(s). Motorola and Intel both have a large scale of products, but we don�t know which one we have to choose.

We�re just at the start of this project, so all ideas can be used and be participated. Maybe you like to help us all the way this project, then you will be informed about all the features of it.
