Temperature sensitive part

I have a 10k thermistor to solder to a board, the problem is that the thermistor can't absorbe more then 105 degree C and as soon as I send it through the reflow oven or hand solder it, the part internaly over heat giving inconsistent readings.

Any clue, anyone?

This appears to be a good application for conductive adhesive. If the part is through hole, you could wire wrap the leads around two posts.

Contact the fabricator of this part for their recommendations. There is about as many different approaches to soldering thermistors as there is thermistors.

You imply that this is a SMT style package. If that is correct, it's curious that the component cannot stand soldering temperatures. Are you confusing "operating temperature" with "processing temperature"? Although you do say that the component is damaged with soldering temperature. Is that damage permanent?
