Hello all,

I have a flux over components that affects AOI results in reading the symbols on top of it. What would you recommend to minimize this effect?

Find out were the excess flux is coming from. See if it can be eliminated or reduced at the source. Lokely coming from something other than SMT assembly.

I have seen there is flux like stuff dripping off from the exhaust area of the reflow oven onto the board That would be the issue of poor maintenance.

The image is very poor.

I would start with giving the oven a good clean. You likely have some build up that is then dropping onto your boards causing this.
