Mirtec AOI MV-3L Solder Inspection setup | 14 November, 2023

Hello Experts, I am using Mirtec MV-3L for PCBA SMT/TH inspection. Recently we have been facing solder inspection issues. I tried multiple settings in the Solder inspection program, including lights, Binarize, angles, etc. but not getting the results I wanted. Can someone please help me with the right setting? I want AOI to catch all missing solder connections and bridges. Please respond back to this thread, and I can share my contact info for discussion.

Have you reached out to MIRTEC? They can easily connect through Teamviewer and check your settings and see what you see live. It would be way more effective than someone trying to troubleshoot by email. The support tech that we usually get really knows his stuff, though he doesn't always come across as the most friendly. As long as the issue gets fixed, I can deal with a little less "bedside manner".
