Search a program on MPM Momentum | 14 May, 2023

Good day everyone. We have a MPM Momentum printer with over 700 programs, and every time we need to search through a large number of programs to find the one we need. Is there a more efficient way to search? Thank you all in advance.

I used a different machine in the past (Essemtec - FLX) where the program loading window was very similar to the one you uploaded. What worked for me, is clicking on one of the files in the window, and start typing the program you are searching for. This is a Windows feature I believe. I hope it will be useful/working for you too.

And you can download a barcode font. If you have a list in Excel, you can put an asterisk in front of what you want the barcode to say and one after. Then switch to the barcode font. I've seen it used with a mailing list in Excel to make labels for parts for kitting.

If the stencils are listed in Excel then it would be pretty straightforward to generate barcode labels for them.

The only downside is that it is 3 of 9 and generates relatively long barcodes.

Thank you all for your participation in solving the problem. Unfortunately, we do not have the option to work with the barcode scanner, so we spent time renaming the programs into a single format (stencil number), and added all other information to the comments. Now, all you need to do is enter the desired number and download the program.
