I'm attempting to integrate my Universal machines with my inventory system / erp. I don't have a license for camx or secs gem though the files for both are on my machines. I realised I could just follow the log file and then send information when components are rejected, boards started / finished etc but the log files I've found the info in are opened in exclusive mode and I haven't worked a way around that yet. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm assuming the camx / gem license will be more than I paid for the machines...

Problem solved. I just check the modification time of the log, read from where I last read up to, then close it, send result over mqtt to inventree. Little fiddly to get some modern stuff running on win 2k but wasn't too bad.
