Camx for uic machines?

I'm interested in getting parts usage data from my two universal Genesis machines. They appear to have support for camx as there is a a camx service in the bin directory and a schema etc. I can't find anything in voyager or on the uic site about it. They've got good documentation for secs gem but it's pretty clunky looking and it's a keyed feature that I don't think is enabled. Anyone got docs about setting up camx? Anyone done it?
