MPM UP2000HiE Hardware Limit Warning - E00938 | 19 January, 2023

My UP2000 HiE Printer on Power-ON during initial Reset will show this error and reset will abort with no way to continue.

E00938 10 - HARDWARE LIMIT WARNING

In Input/Output Screen all Sensors are in normal situation and will react normally when tested one by one. No additional information on logs. Is there a way to have more detailed logs ?

Does anyone has more information about this error ? Where to check ?

MPM UP2000HiE Hardware Limit Warning - E00938 | 21 January, 2023

The so-called "drivers" are used to control each servo - control boards at the back of the machine. There are several (8?). If one is "worn out" and has no strength to move the servo, maybe this is where the error comes from? They can be interchanged, but they have configuration jumpers - probably, for example, the servo power is set there.

Thank you Michal,

The MPM error messages are ambiguous to say the least and one axis not zeroing was a possible cause.

But I put here what I learned again and again with this machine: when something doesn't work start by checking the fuses, all of them.

And a second thing: after moving around this machine with a forklift, start by calibrating the Z axis.

Hi ELC, I'm curious about your comment of calibrating the Z axis. Our UP2000 has been moved around a few times and we've never done this nor noticed a need to. Could you please share some more information and even perhaps the calibration procedure?
