MPM UP2000HiE software versions | 28 December, 2022

We have 7.2E (MS-DOS variant) software version on our printer and there are some annoying bugs and less than optimal NPI process (when the new board need to be put on and put off the rails several times during NPI teaching). Is there a known newer/better version of the software for this printer we could look for? Is the Windows NT version any better than MS-DOS version? Would anyone be kind to share their version of software for MPM UP2000 if newer than ours? Thank you in advance.

Second question concerning MPM UP2000HiE:

Are there two options of conveyor lengths for this printer? Looking for conveyor belts spare parts I found two options: One 137" and one 106" that gives about 134 and 174cm total conveyor lengths. Does anyone have informations about conveyor length options and part numbers? We have serious space problems and a shorter version of conveyors will help us very much.

Your best source of parts and info for MPM machines is PPM in New Hampshire. George, who is the oracle when it comes to these printers is no longer with the company, but either Ed Sullivan or Steve Brown can probably assist you. I had a UP1500 and two Accuflexes (still have one accu), so I don't know your exact machine, but mine were all windows based GUI, and they worked fine.

Yes, there are two lengths. My MPM UltraPrint 2000 HiE has trays protruding from the machine about 15 cm, I think. I'll check with the company tomorrow to see if there are any numbers in the manual. I have a link to the part saved - maybe check it out: http://www.gs-smt.com/en/86-m?p=3
