SM421 stuck on Initializing machine I/F | 14 December, 2022

We have a SM421 that gets stuck on that message during software startup. Tried cleaning contact and resetting cards, but that hasn't helped. Has anyone come across this before. Our rep is saying Samsung / Hanwha don't support SM421 anymore so we are on our own

What is the exact error message? Did you look up the code? What step in homing is it doing when it fails? Maybe post a photo of the error list or message that pops up?

Does the air and stuff kick on in the machine when it gets there? So you never get a message, it just sticks there? I've gotten stuck there, but usually it eventually gives an error. When mine did it, usually it was a library/ database/ connection issue. Now my libraries are all on the server, not local. I know most folks don't run it that way.

Issue fixed by removing and putting the VME - PCI interface card in the X86 computer.
