Q on YV88X push-in dial not moving | 19 April, 2022

Hi. On our YV88X (Emerald-X), we use the edge clamp + Push-IN clamp to secure the PCB. The push-in metal part pops up fine but unable to move this piece to the LEFT or RIGHT using the dial inside the machine. The latch inside the machine is rotated 'clockwise' to permit this adjustment but still unable to rotate the dial to move the push-in clamp position.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this fault ?

It appears there is a small rubber belt that should move when the dial is rotated. This dial must be in a 'brake' position as the belt is not budging at all.

Maybe the lock latch arm is loose and not allowing for the belt to move ?

Welcome any ideas.

For future readers - just needed a little bit of lube. Many thanks to Michal & the staff @ Trans-Tec (USA) for their excellent support, as always.

Please see attached. For our (dated) machine, the black dial would turn only after hitting the gym and failed to move the push-in pin ('shark fin') that travels on a belt.

Michal shared that his belt moves in sync with the black dial fine but ours did not. After removing the feeder front side plate, had full access to the black dial & metal pulley system. The belt was able to move with ease but not the dial. After some lubrication, almost as good as new :)
