PASTE DRYING OUT ON STENCIL | 9 February, 2011

I have a customer who's solder paste is drying out on their stencils. Humidity 40-45, Temp 70degrees, no air blowing on stencil, no cleaning stencils with chemicals. Handling of paste is done correctly. I'm thinking maybe the paste froze during shipment? But don't know what frozen and then dethawed paste how that would function?? Any help on this is appreciated.

Some solder paste formulations can be frozen with no effect. Other formulations ... not so much.

Can you compare this questionable solder paste with 'known good' paste of this part number in a structured test?
