Talking to a Panasonic P&P Machine (MV/MSH/MPA)

Hi, I want to send / receieve data to/from our Panasonic P & P machines. I want to use VB6 or VB.net for the program and would like to know if anyone has the basic code for sending the data to the panasert or even some pointers on the best way to go about it.
