In the past year I was responsible for developing and leading a Team focused on AOI, Evaluation, Justification, and with a full ROI required, supporting a HMLV manufacturing environment. If you have in these economic times the additional resources t

Hi guys, Which brand of offline AOI is better? Any advice? My budget is around 40K USD. Now i'm looking at Marantz (Japan), Jutze (China) and Magicray (China).

First Article Inspection system is recommended. We use FAI , SPI and off-line AOI. FAI is very important for middle to high volume PCB assembly.

It sounds as if you have your AOI set up off-line, and you're "AOIing" a sampling of the PCBs produced. If that’s the case, then the responsibility of who drives the inspection really depends on how you configure it. If it's based on the number of P

For Trion 2340-Orbotech AOI is not so hard to handle this automated machine, specially for offline PCB test inspection, since it only used black and white color configuration. To improve its testing capability, try using the BRIGHT_A or BRIGHT_m func
