Catalyst Manufacturing Services, a full-service contract electronics manufacturer providing engineering, manufacturing, and technical support, has purchased six turn-key production lines from Universal Instruments, including screen printers, reflow ovens and 12 Genesis Platforms, to be installed over their three manufacturing sites located in Endicott, NY (USA), Raleigh, NC (USA), and Tijuana, Mexico.

Universal Instruments has announced a limited-time promotion on a scalable production line featuring the company’s award-winning Advantis 3 Platform. This new platform was recognized, at this year’s IPC APEX tradeshow, with a Circuits Assembly NPI Award. SMT Hautes Technologies has further leveraged its alliance with Universal Instruments to enhance the company's capabilities and bolster its position as a leading-edge EMS provider. SMT Hautes has purchased an Advantis® AC-90T Platform for its Montreal, Canada production facility, extending its growing Universal Instruments surface mount production portfolio. The new high-speed machine is currently achieving 3X the throughput in half the footprint of the previous equipment set.
