DEK Horizon.03

Im having some trouble with a DEK Horizon.03 We had a few power flickers the other day, and now I get the error of "Invalid Hardware keycode" "Please reinstall the hardware(machine) keycode or contact your local DEK CS. This ancient thing doesnt have local DEK cs. Ive tried reinstalling the software several times. There is not a physical usb dongle. There is something called a DESkey, which I assume is the same thing. But it is firmly seated. Any ideas where to start troubleshoot
