As an IPC authorized training facility, ACI Technologies provides training opportunities for students wishing to become certified at a level of proficiency which enables the graduate to train others. This program provides the necessary skills to be able to instruct workers in how to correctly apply the acceptability criteria of IPC/WHMA-A-620. The course also teaches the correct application of the standard, which defines acceptability criteria for crimped, mechanically secured and soldered interconnections and the corresponding lacing/restraining criteria associated with cable and harness assemblies. Students that complete the program by demonstrating the ability to correctly apply the accept/reject criteria in the standard will be issued an IPC Trainer’s Certificate.

Technical trainers, solder training instructors, process engineers, manufacturing supervisors or lead technicians who are responsible for the assembly of equipment built to the requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 will benefit from this course.
