Logic PD is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Technicians for all shifts at our Eden Prairie, MN location. This position is responsible to design, verify, and integrate SMT, THT or conformal coat equipment and tooling to support the production processes.

Responsibilities
Assist in generating machine programs and refining existing programs for multiple equipment sets such at SMT.THT, conformal coat, etc.
Operate as the “first call for help” on any machine or process related issues within the SMT area (or other areas as assigned) escalating issues as needed to either engineering or technicians for quick resolution.
Assist in install, repair, relocate and/or troubleshoot equipment at component level
Assist with the identification and ordering of replacement parts while maintaining parts inventory
Ensure revision control of program files and backups
Complete preventative maintenance status of various pieces of equipment
Work to improve machine efficiency by creating common setups, identify improvement opportunities to processes and products
Other related duties and projects as assigned 
Requirements 2 year degree in electronics, manufacturing technology or an equivalent one- to two-year military course. The instructional program should prepare individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of electronics manufacturing
0 -1+ years SMT manufacturing technician experience
Basic knowledge of Wave Solder, AOI, reflow profiling, printing (DEK), Conformal Coat, and/or SMT equipment programming (i.e. MyData, Siemens, Fuji, Panasonic, Universal or JUKI machines)
Exposure to assembly prints, BOMs and other technical data
Some CAD/CAM experience preferred
Basic computer skills required
Basic soldering knowledge
Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, optics, mechanical and electrical technologies
Knowledge of numbers, their operations, and interrelationships including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications
Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Knowledge of electric circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English required
Ability to generate or adapt equipment and technology to serve user needs
Ability to determine what is causing an operating error and what to do about it
Able to work in a fast paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction
