Grid-Lok Leaking | 13 September, 2016

Well I've tried to get in touch with Ovation for weeks now without luck, so maybe someone here will have the answers I'm looking for.

One of our Grid-Lok Gold modules is leaking air from the sides (it pushes the pins up fine, but when air is applied to the pistons to hold the pins up it's leaking and the pins are just falling down). I took the black covers that are shown in the attached image but only found some strange rubber pieces and pistons behind the pins.

Does anyone happen to know the fix for this? Can we purchase some sort of rebuild kit? I don't see any obvious gaskets anywhere.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

When you attach multiple modules to the manifold, this is the only one that screws up ? It sounds like something maybe hooked up backwards.

Phil,

I had the same problem with my Gridlok blocks. Contact Jean Schroy at Henderson Industries in Bethlehem, PA (610-758-9263). They refurbished the three that I had and they have been working perfectly ever since.

I bet you it is a gasket that needs to be aligned or replaced(also could be as broken tube, if any). The only question is, how far you should dig in to find it? I would say, keep disassembling.
