Fuji CP642 Hardware NG issue

Fuji CP642 Hardware NG issue | 8 April, 2014

So we had a ringblow pump blow up in our CP642. We replaced it and now we are getting hardware NG errors very intermittently.(2-4 times during and 8 hour shift) I see that the x-motor fan, cam motor fan,and oil cooler are all in this circuit.

When it starts coming up with the error I see the light flickering on M1-CR1E-H relay which tells me it is loosing 24V. The relay has been replaced and we still have the issue.

There is a timer in the circuit (M1TR3X) which is labeled Ready/NG. If we increase the timer the errors seem to become much less frequent but I want to fix the underlying issue.

Has anyone ever come across this before ?

Place a Digital CRO on that 24V rail. Watch the output. trigger on voltage drop lets say 18V picking a figure out of the air. You may well have another rail in your supply or nearby pulling your 240V //110V rail. Most likely a shot Electro either on the 24V or 240/110V rail

My first guess, loose wire or bad cable. Email me and I will send you a checklist.

I think we traced it down to the sensor on the x-axis motor.
