IPC/WHMA-A-620 Trainer (CIT) Certification Training Course

The IPC-WHMA-A-620 CIT Training & Certification course train, test and certify future Instructors, on the IPC-WHMA-A-620 "Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness" Standard, using the industry developed, recognized, approved and traceable training material, provided by the Association Connecting Electronics Industries. At the conclusion of the course, students will be subjected to open and closed book written exams. Students who successfully complete this course are awarded an IPC-WHMA-A-610 Certified IPC Trainer Certification, and are authorized to conduct the Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) course.

The Ideal candidates for this course are Production Operators, Inspectors, Technicians, Quality Control, Manufacturing and Process Engineers and Management personnel who desire to comprehend the proper explanation and interpretation of the requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Training is conducted by Celestica in cooperation with Seneca College. The training leads to industry recognized IPC certification in IPC-A-610, "Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies" and IPC-7711/7721, "Rework, Repair and Modification" Standards at operator and trainer level for individuals currently employed or seeking future employment in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly related industries. Successful students will be issued joint Seneca/Celestica Recognition of Completion along with the corresponding IPC certification.
