SuperBoost is a field-upgradeable feature for FlashCORE III programmers that fundamentally re-architects and optimizes the programming engine without making hardware changes. Customers using a FlashCORE III-based programmer can achieve the highest programming speeds available on the market with SuperBoost. As a result, high production throughput can be achieved despite programming huge date file sizes.
"With FlashCORE III and SuperBoost, customers will experience the fastest programming speeds on the market for their high density embedded devices such as e.MMC and SD," said Phil Christenson, Director of Marketing. "We are thrilled to release SuperBoost to our customers. It is another example of how customers continue to receive added value and increased performance from Data I/O and the FlashCORE III programming engine."
Devices using the JEDEC e.MMC interface — including e.MMC 4.41, Samsung MoviNAND, Toshiba e.MMC, Micron e.MMC, Hynix e-NAND, Phison ECC-NAND and SanDisk iNAND — all benefit from SuperBoost.
