Multitest to Showcase Leading Contactors at BiTS 2010

Feb 11, 2010

Rosenheim, Germany — February 2010 — Multitest, a designer and manufacturer of final test handlers, contactors and load boards used by integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and final test subcontractors worldwide, will showcase its leading contactors at the upcoming Burn-in & Test Socket Workshop, schedule to take place March 7-10, 2010 at the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa Hotel in Mesa, Ariz.

Multitest’s ECON® contactor is a cost-efficient solution for high-power standard and plunge-to-board applications. The contactor features a significant cost of test advantage, maintenance friendly contact spring blocks and excellent electrical repeatability.

The nanoKelvin® contactor is a universal Kelvin contactor for high-power plunge-to-board applications. The nanoKelvin® comes with full Kelvin capability combined with a plunge-to-board interface. As an additional benefit, the contactor features maintenance friendly contact spring blocks and excellent electrical repeatability.

The Mercury™ contactor is a high-performance, cost-effective contactor for high-volume production test. The revolutionary new architecture features a barrel-less probe design with dual fork redundant bias, excellent resistance stability and longer usable life, and superior reliability based on materials and design.

Gemini Kelvin™ is a low inductance, high-frequency contactor for high-volume production. As the most flexible Kelvin solution on the market, the Gemini Kelvin™ provides Kelvin contact for in-line and array applications and is field-proven with hundreds of contactors in high-volume production test environments.

Multitest’s design and manufacturing resources are solely dedicated to ATE board design. State-of-the-art production equipment and the long-term experience of Harbor Electronics, Inc. ensure reliable on-time delivery and industry leading quality for advanced applications such as 0.4 mm pitch. Harbor’s well-established production process allows Multitest to avoid sequential lamination even for high-layer count boards. Captive fabrication and assembly facilities ensure seamless and accurate transition from design to manufacturing.

Multitest is a one-stop supplier for test handlers, contactors and load boards, which is unique in the industry. Multitest and its brands, ECT Interface Products and Harbor Electronics, offer clients the turnkey solution for final test equipment.
