Aqueous Technologies Introduces Contract Cleaning and Cleanliness Testing

Nov 01, 2009

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — October 2009 — Aqueous Technologies Corp. announces the introduction of a full-service contract defluxing and cleanliness testing service in its Southern California facility. Aqueous Technologies’ fleet of award-winning Trident automatic defluxing equipment and Zero-Ion Resistivity of Solvent Extract (ROSE) testers are available for use on any assemblies.

Aqueous Technologies’ defluxing equipment is capable of removing all flux types (RMA, No-Clean, Water Soluble) from any type of assembly soldered with any type of alloy (lead-free or eutectic). From a few assemblies to a few thousand assemblies, Aqueous Technologies provides thorough cleaning/defluxing and cleanliness testing services.

Unlike other companies that only charge by the board, Aqueous Technologies charges by the hour. This is beneficial for customers because Aqueous Technologies’ defluxing equipment are among the fastest machines available.

The price is fully inclusive. DI water, defluxing chemicals, and all labor are included in the price. As an additional benefit, AqueousTechnologies offers same-day-service at no additional charge.

All defluxing services include sampled military and IPC-approved cleanliness testing utilizing a Resistivity of Solvent Extract (ROSE) tester at no additional charge. Aqueous also provides stand-alone contract cleanliness testing on a per-board basis. Aqueous Technologies cleanliness testing equipment meets all military and IPC cleanliness testing standards, including Mil STD 2000A and IPC-TM650.
