DEK Reaches Agreement to Move Italy Distribution Channel

Apr 21, 2009

DEK, the global industry leader in screen printing and mass imaging, has reached an agreement with Southern Europe distribution specialist Prodelec to exclusively handle DEK platform product and support in Italy.

As part of a series of initiatives at DEK designed to reassess business models and sales channels, Prodelec becomes DEK's exclusive distributor in Italy with immediate effect.

Formed in Italy in 1991, Prodelec distributes highly integrated hardware and software products for electronics production and represents a number of high profile software, AOI and assembly principals in the Italian market. The respected company joins DEK's powerful EU Distribution Network as part of the DEK Northern Europe sales and support team headquartered in Weymouth, England.

Our agreement with Prodelec puts the DEK distribution in Italy into strong local hands, guaranteeing our customers the highest quality sales and support experience, explains DEK President Michael Brianda. It will also extend DEK's brand equity in this country as it strengthens our commitment and delivers greater responsiveness, which means that customers in Italy really can Expect More from DEK now and into the future.

Roberto Gatti at Prodelec, says: We are delighted with the agreement and look forward to close cooperation with DEK as we deliver the high levels of service our customers expect. Prodelec can immediately add value with a broader choice of line solutions and best-in-class equipment plus lower ownership costs through line solution warranties and total line service contracts.
