Valor Highlights Manufacturing Visibility Dashboard Solution

Mar 24, 2009

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA March 2009 Valor Computerized Systems, Inc., global provider of productivity improvement software across the printed circuit board manufacturing supply chain, highlights its manufacturing visibility dashboard solution.

Valor provides a unique and powerful means to present real-time information focused on achieving manufacturing excellence. Especially designed for line operators, production managers, process engineers, production planners, and equipment maintenance personnel, Valor's dashboards display the key performance indicators (KPIs) that enable critical visibility into each specific operational environment. The dashboards quickly identify trends or patterns in-progress and help derive the insights needed for early corrective action.

The Line Level Dashboard ensures production flow by providing the SMT workforce with real-time information on current performance and work order status, level of components consumed, MSD alerts, and more. It enables measurement of key KPIs such as: OEE, changeover time, first pass yield, nozzle/feeders errors by specific ID numbers, and more.

The Plant Level Dashboard is the industry's most advanced manufacturing intelligence tool, providing a high level view of performance of multiple assembly lines, WIP tracking, and full metrics of KPIs focused on factory performance, asset utilization, product quality and the productivity of the shop floor workforce.

Valor's dashboard infrastructure uses powerful easily configured data connectors to pull information from various user databases and enterprise solutions, including XML files and/or Web services, plus an API to control and pull selectable data from Valor's vManage and vCheck MES database. Valor's dashboard flexibility can maximize manufacturing throughput by making the correct manufacturing issues transparent to the user.

Valor can streamline custom dashboard implementations by proving an analysis/design service and creating the required data connections. The Dashboard Designer toolkit creates custom templates or can modify Valor's out-of-the-box dashboard templates according to user needs. The custom design service will ensure that dashboards are focused on the specific needs of the user and that best fit KPIs are being used.

Valor will feature the vManage at APEX in booth 1373. In addition, Valor will be showcasing a new video technology never seen before in the US 3DTV at the show.
