Virtual Industries Introduces New BULB-VAC Tool

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO � March 2009 � Virtual Industries Inc., a leading supplier of manual vacuum handling solutions, announces the premier of the cost-effective BULB-VAC tool, part number BVJ-075-B.

The BULB-VAC comes with one 3/4" diameter static dissipative Buna-N vacuum cup.

Virtual Industries' vacuum-bulb type tools are the lowest cost pick-and-place tools available. These tools operate very similarly to a tweezer. Simply squeeze the vacuum bulb, place the soft suction cup to the part to be handled, then relax the squeeze and the part is firmly gripped. A second squeeze releases the part.�These tools easily lift 0.25 lb (113 grams).

Applications for this tool include SMT parts, metal parts, plastic parts or any item with a smooth nonporous-surface that the rubber vacuum tweezer tip can seal against. This tool can be used with any of the company's rubber vacuum cups ranging in size from 3/8" (9.53 mm) to 3/4" (19.05 mm) in diameter.�The larger cups can be used to pick up larger and heavier parts.��For better precision in part placement, try PEN-VAC or PEN-VAC PRO-Series self contained vacuum pens.
