APS Novastar LLC, a leading global manufacturer of affordable, reliable PCB and SMT end to end OEM solutions for low to medium run production introduces automatic Vision Control for its L-Series pick and place systems. Vision Control advances the already precise, fast and reliable placement of 0201's with 100% accurate on-the-fly, bottom-up vision placement of micro BGA's and ultra fine pitch QFP's. Cognex Machine Vision along with two (2) micron resolution scales and an easy-to-use software application provides accurate, reliable placement at the best value in the industry.

L-Series automated pick and place systems are considered by many customers across the globe to be a value standard for fast, accurate and reliable placement of fine pitch components. APS Novastar's engineering team guided by several key customers developed an affordable solution without compromise to throughput and placement accuracy has addressed significant previously unmet needs for BGA, micro BGA, bottom leaded and odd shaped component placement down to 0201 components and 15 mil pitch resolution requirements. "Launch of Vision Control represents our sustaining commitment to be a leader in satisfying customer needs for state-of-the-art solutions at a value short to medium run ESMs and OEMs can afford" stated Tim Kardish, APS Novastar's President.
