LOGAN, Utah � Leading contract electronics manufacturer, Inovar, a division of inthinc, Inc., announced today that Tom Carlin has been named President. The announcement was made by Blake Kirby, President and Chief Operating Officer, of inthinc.

Mr. Carlin's executive management experience spans over 15 years. Most recently, he served as President and COO of MSD Performance, a leading automotive performance company. Prior to MSD Performance, Mr. Carlin was President of Edge Products, which was twice named to Inc. magazine's 500 fastest growing companies. Mr. Carlin joined Edge Products after a successful tenure with McKinsey & Company in both their Atlanta and Sydney, Australia, offices. Mr. Carlin holds a B.S. in engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard University.
