FCT Solder to Highlight SLIC Paste at SMTA International 2008

Aug 04, 2008

GREELEY, CO August 2008 FCT Solder, a division of FCT Assembly and an authorized Licensee of Nihon Superior Co. Ltd.'s SN100C product line, announces that it will display SLIC Paste in booth 125 at the upcoming SMTA International exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place August 19-20, 2008 in Orlando, FL.

SLIC Paste boasts improvements in printability characteristics and manufacturing performance. Developed through a combination of material ion and proprietary blending processes, SLIC Paste benefits include extended open and idle times, consistent release from the smallest apertures (including micro BGA and 01005s), repeatable paste deposition control for a worry-free printing process, and no to ultra-low voiding during reflow soldering.

SLIC Paste is readily available in water soluble or no-clean chemistries, and offered in all package types. It is available in a variety of lead and lead-free alloys, including the popular SN100C (Sn/Cu/Ni +Ge).

Visit FCT Solder in booth 125 at SMTA International for more information and to see the SLIC Paste firsthand.

About FCT Assembly

FCT Assembly was created after the purchase of Fine Line Stencil, Inc., and consists of two major operations: stencil manufacturing and the manufacturing of electronic assembly products such as solder paste, flux and solder (both conventional 63/37 and SN100C lead-free) bar. The assembly products are manufactured in the Greeley, Colo. plant and the stencils are manufactured in the Beaverton, Ore., Memphis, Tenn., and Greeley, Colo. facilities. The stencils can be fabricated by both laser cutting and chemical etch. The company also makes precision parts in its A-Laser division, which is located in Beaverton, Ore.
