BTU International Receives $1.9 Million Order for Nuclear Fuel-Sintering Furnace from China

NORTH BILLERICA, Mass., Oct. 11, 2007�BTU International, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTUI), a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics manufacturing and alternative energy generation markets, today announced the receipt of a $1.9 million order for a Walking Beam Furnace from a leading manufacturer of nuclear fuel in China.

China�s growing demand for electrical power is driving the need for local clean energy sources, such as nuclear. This high-technology, high-volume Walking Beam Furnace system is designed to play a major role in ramping up China�s nuclear infrastructure," said Paul van der Wansem, president and CEO of BTU International.
