Oct 05, 2007

LIVERMORE, Calif.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Oct. 4, 2007-Adept Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADEP), the leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced the launch of their Preferred Packaging Partner (PPP) program. The program is designed to provide customers with access to an experienced channel for the company's major high-speed robotics initiative in the North American packaging market.

In addition, the Preferred Packaging Partner companies will be actively working with Adept to advance the capabilities and cost effectiveness of robotic packaging solutions in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and consumer goods markets.

"The Preferred Packaging Partner program represents a major step forward in high speed robotics packaging solutions," said John Dulchinos, president & COO, Adept Technology. "Combining Adept's advanced robot and integrated vision technology with the industry's most experienced packaging integration companies should enable a new generation of packaging solutions."

Adept Technology will be displaying their complete packaging robot portfolio at the Pack Expo Las Vegas 2007 show in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 15 to 17, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
