PCB East 2003 Announces Final Conference and Exhibition Program

ATLANTA, GA, July 8, 2003�UP Media Group Inc. (UPMG) today announced the final schedule of events for the eighth annual PCB Design Conference East (PCB East), the premier East Coast conference and exhibition for PCB engineering, design and manufacture professionals. PCB East 2003 will be held October 20-24, 2003, in the heart of the Massachusetts technology corridor at the Holiday Inn Boxborough Woods in Boxborough, MA.

PCB East 2003 Final Conference Program

PCB East 2003 features a five-day conference program that will provide attendees with an assortment of professional development and technical conference courses, a keynote address, special networking events, and a two-day exhibition. The PCB East three-day Technical Conference (Tues. � Thurs., Oct. 21-23) includes 18 short courses�12 of them brand new to PCB Design Conference East. The Technical Conference is bracketed by Professional Development courses: five full-day tutorials and two two-day Design Excellence Curriculum (DEC) courses that award certificates to attendees.

The Keynote Address will kick-off the Technical Conference on Tues., Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. This year�s keynote speaker is Dan Shea, senior vice president and group general manager of Celestica, who will speak on �Outsourced Design Services and Virtual Manufacturing.� The two-day exhibition will begin immediately following the keynote (Tues., Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.). The hours of the two-day exhibition are: Oct. 21, 10 a.m. � 7 p.m. and Oct. 22, 10 a.m. � 3:30 p.m. Two must-attend special events will take place back-to-back on Tues., Oct. 21: the Opening Night Reception (5:30 � 7 p.m. on the show floor) and the Blues jam Networking Party (7 � 10:30 p.m.). Both provide key networking opportunities to PCB East attendees and exhibitors.
