In a joint statement by Mr. Dino Ditta, President of RSI, and Mr. Ian Brown, Managing Director of PCS, they confirmed their commitment to providing customers with focused, efficient support within the UK and Irish markets. Mr. Ditta commented, "RSI software tools are deployed by the over 80% of the leading electronics OEM and EMS companies." He continued, "Our goal is to focus on targeted, local support where these customers can communicate directly with highly competent experts." Mr. Brown added, "PCS is dedicated to keeping customers and prospects alike appraised of the opportunities they have for improving processes and cost savings utilizing the RSI EDA tools."
RSI operates from its Newport Beach, California offices. All of the company's products and services will be available through PCS including ECAD data preparation tools, BOM analysis and manipulation tools, data preparation and analysis tools for DFM and DFT, collaborative ECAD viewing tools, shop floor data management tools for paperless repair, and ECAD-to-ECAD translation tools. PCS will operate out of its Wimborne, Dorset offices. Products, software support agreements and training services are available from PCS.
