The system also provides Sanmina-SCI's vendors with the ability to proactively manage their inventory within the VMI hub. ICON's VMI tool enables vendors to visually view Sanmina-SCI's actual and forecast demand for their products. The tool updates the information immediately after the customer changes a forecast or actual order demand, so the vendor can adjust accordingly. As a result, Sanmina-SCI has complete supply chain visibility enabling them to give firm and realistic commitment dates.
