National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW is a graphical development environment that helps engineers and scientists quickly build data acquisition, instrumentation and control systems that increase productivity and save development time. Users build a graphical program called a virtual instrument (VI) instead of writing text-based programs. The Library is based on a core VI that can easily be adapted by instructors to their own experiments. Similar examples that import LabVIEW captured data into Multisim will also soon be available. These new capabilities enable a wider range of learning objectives and lab applications than are possible when using these tools separately.
