Tyco Electronics � Printed Circuit Group / Stafford Division has announced that it is now MIL-PRF-31032-certified. Auditors from the Defense Supply Center Columbus, (DSCC) awarded the certification following the Stafford Division�s successful completion of a three-day audit, the company said.
Having been an established MIL-SPEC 55110 supplier for more than 30 years, the Stafford Division was able to enhance the process control system and incorporate unique systems requirements to the existing test specification to achieve the MIL-PRF-31032 certification status, according to Tyco Electronics. Based on Stafford Division�s expertise in a wide range of high technology designs and its ability to utilize numerous material types, Tyco Electronics � Printed Circuit Group / Stafford Division will be listed as the highest technology supplier on the QML, Tyco Electronics stated.
In addition to the Stafford Division, Tyco Electronics � Printed Circuit Group / Austin Division is also MIL-PRF-31032 approved, making both divisions two of less than a dozen manufacturers approved for this new specification, according to Tyco Electronics.
