Mosaid sues Samsung for alleged infringement

Mosaid Technologies Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and several of its U.S.-based affiliates for alleged infringement of seven of Mosaid's United States patents related to DRAM technology.

The suit was filed in a Federal district court in New Jersey.Mosaid seeks damages and an injunction against Samsung from using the disputed technologies.

The company did not offer additional details.

Earlier this week, Mosaid said it would be stepping up its enforcement of its patents, as part of a restructuring announcement.
