Unicomp Technology Announces Expansion and Collaboration with ASC International

Unicomp Technology Co. Ltd., Wuxi China, has recently opened a showroom and service support center in Oceanside, CA. The 6,000 ft.2 facility includes stencil cleaning equipment and a wide range of X-ray machines for PCB assembly and fabrication, semiconductor, battery and public security scanning. Machines for demonstration are listed below:

  • AX-8200 PCBA/PCBF X-ray System

  • AX-8300 PCBA X-ray System

  • AX-7200 PCBA X-ray System

  • LX-2000 Series Battery Inspection System

  • LX-5000 Semiconductor System

  • UNX-6550 Public Security System

  • SC-P2 Stencil Cleaning System

The other BIG news is that ASC International (a manufacturer of 3D solder paste inspection machines) and Unicomp Technology have agreed to a worldwide collaboration for marketing, sales, technical support and technology sharing. This partnership is effective immediately with Unicomp and ASC working together to offer the highest level of technology and customer support possible.

Unicomp Technology’s facility in Oceanside, CA will include the latest ASC International SPI machines for demonstration/service and full support. ASC International also will have the latest X-ray and cleaning technology from Unicomp in its Medina, MN manufacturing facility. ASC International and Unicomp Technology recently teamed up for the SMTA Chapter meeting in Eden Prairie, MN and will work together at the SMTA International Show, Rosemont, IL (Sep 27-28, 2016). This collaboration between solder paste inspection and X-ray are complementary technologies with many common inspection links. This includes; hardware, software, motion controls, imaging, SPC reporting and ease of operation. This joint cooperation between Unicomp and ASC will help to streamline the customer decision and purchasing process for inspection solutions.


Unicomp Technology was founded in 2002 in Shenzhen China. Unicomp was the first company in China to design Pneumatic Stencil Cleaning Equipment. As of 2016, Unicomp has in excess of 2,300 stencil cleaners installed. In 2007, Unicomp expanded into the X-ray Equipment design and mfg market with the introduction of the AX-8100 PCBA machine. Since 2007, Unicomp now has over 1,300 x-ray installations throughout the world.
