VERMES Microdispensing introduces its Multi Micro Dispensing System for low and medium viscosity

Microdispensing developer and manufacturer VERMES Microdispensing GmbH has launched its multi valve piezo based micro dispensing solution redefining high parallel installations.

MUNICH, Germany – March 22, 2016 – VERMES Microdispensing, a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative microdispensing solutions, today announced the expansion of its Micro Dispensing System family by a new member called the Multi MDS Series for low and medium viscosity.

It presents an optimal solution for low & medium viscosity applications that need to manage flexible use and multi valve dispensing.

The Multi MDS is perfect for high parallel installations of low viscosity media in markets ranging from pharmaceutical, medical and biological applications to SMT (Surface-mount technology), electronics, semiconductors, photovoltaic modules and automotives production.

Its big advantages are the fully independent multi valves control and the low rack space. Each Multi Micro Dispensing System is based on the control unit Multi MDC 3090+ that can be combined with up to four valves such as MDV 3010A, MDV 3020A, MDV 3010+ and MDV 3020+.

The multi valve controller operates the dispense valves independently and simultaneously simplifying and reducing valve set-up and operation time. Additionally, extensive rack space savings are achieved with the four valve control unit that only needs 128mm x 214mm x 173mm.

The system can be easy adapted to new challenges and can be seamlessly integrated into many manufacturing operations at any time without major investments.

Flexible parameter setting and comprehensive choice of accessories are available, e.g. nozzle inserts, tappet shapes and supply units.

Reduced costs apply as one controller serves four valves and the interface plug-ins for the computer control unit are reduced.

Market-leading reproducible dispensing results such as proportioning of identical single dots (min. 5 nl) or beads are performed with a Coefficient of Variation (CV) as low as 1%.

The Multi MDS system has been designed for ultra-precise contactless dispensing of fluids in a large range of viscosity of up to 8.000 mPas.

The system allows extremely fast opening and closing of valve with more than 3000 Hz. The parameter settings are freely adjustable and enable customizing the jet progress to the requirements of the fluid properties.

The electronic control unit allows the smooth change of dispensing parameters without delay.

The Copy Mode is a special feature of a Multi MDC 3090+ where the user can easily copy dispensing parameters and heater information from one channel to the others or to all at once.
Select pin or scenario mode, both allow an immediate change of drop size and speed at any time while dispensing.
