Altus are delighted to report another milestone for our principal, Rehm Thermal Systems, manufacturer of world leading conventional and condensation reflow systems and curing and conformal coating solutions.
Johannes Rehm, Managing Director of Rehm Thermal Systems, received the award for his performance and dedication in the field of SMT equipment and as technology leader in electronics manufacturing.
The readers of Markt & Technik, the leading electronics trade magazine in Germany, voted for their favourite managing sector in the ten categories passive building components, embedded systems, electromechanics, power supplies, SME distribution, communication, sensor technology, SMT equipment, founders/pioneers of electronics and semiconductors.
In total, over 7,000 valid votes were cast in the course of the online voting on elektroniknet.de. Johannes Rehm, Managing Director of Rehm Thermal Systems, is one of the three winners in the category SMT equipment. The award ceremony took place on 2nd June 2016 during the “Markt & Technik” summit at the Chiemsee in Bavaria, Germany.
Rehm’s idea was to build small, affordable reflow soldering systems with a gas-proof and easily accessible processing chamber. He set new standards at the beginning of the 1990s and provided the industry with a significant boost.
