Dec 13, 2015 The EDGE assessment methodology is the leading certification for gender equality in the workplace that is universally applicable across industries and countries. Five different areas are assessed; equal pay for equivalent work, recruitment and promotion, leadership development training and mentoring, flexible working and company culture.

The EDGE assessment takes several aspects into consideration. One of them is a survey that was sent out to all employees regarding their perception and experience of gender equality at Mycronic. 76 percent of the employees in Sweden answered the survey, which shows that there is great interest in this topic and its respective questions.
The EDGE certification forms part of Mycronic’s diversity efforts and its methodology has provided a clear picture of where the company stands today and the opportunity to benchmark against companies in other countries. Mycronic will now adapt strategies in order to further increase diversity throughout the Group. The EDGE certification also supports Mycronic’s long-term strategy within Employer Branding.
