Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, announces that Inovar has purchased a VERSAFLOW 3/45 selective soldering system with dual solder pots. Inovar is a leading contract manufacturer in the Intermountain West located in Logan, Utah. The VERSAFLOW 3/45 will allow Inovar to run two alloys (tin-lead and lead-free) in one machine on-the-fly.
Andrew Ostler, a process engineer at Inovar mentions, “We have been extremely happy with the Versaflow 3/45. It has allowed us to solder complicated PCAs that would normally have to be done by hand. It produces accurate and repeatable results – something that we haven’t seen with other selective systems. We look forward to taking full advantage of its capabilities on our other assemblies.”
The VERSAFLOW 3/45 is the industry’s most widely used in-line selective soldering platform. This platform is the most repeatable system on the market with technology highlights such as servo driven gantry systems, expandable modularity, dual solder pots, fiducial recognition, board warapage detection, process camera, auto nozzle cleaning, top- and bottom-side heating and offline programming.
Inovar is a complete EMS company with service lines spanning from full-scale product design to end-customer fulfillment. The company is management-owned and was founded in 1998. Over the past 15 years, Inovar has grown to more than 400 employees and operates four shifts on a 24/7 basis. Inovar has consistently been recognized as one of Utah’s fastest growing companies over that time frame.
