CyberOptics® Corporation (NASDAQ: CYBE) today announced that it will exhibit its newest 3D AOI system, SQ3000, featuring breakthrough MRS technology in the HUMANTEK booth E-127 at Electronics Manufacturing Korea, scheduled to take place April 1-3, 2015 in Coex, Seoul. Also on display at the booth are the QX600™ AOI, QX100i™ AOI and SE500ULTRA™ SPI systems.

The SQ3000™ 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) system maximizes ROI and line utilization with multi-view 3D sensors that capture and transmit data simultaneously, and in parallel, enabling the fastest 3D inspection in the industry. The MRS technology inside combined with the highly sophisticated 3D fusing algorithms offers microscopic image quality at production speeds. An easy-to-use, intuitive interface with touch control facilitates minimal training and operator interaction.

The QX600™ ultra-fast, ultra-versatile AOI system offers the fastest programming time with production-ready capability in less than 13 minutes. Built with an all-new Strobed Inspection Module (SIM), the QX600™ delivers the best 01005 and solder joint inspection ever. A high sensor resolution (12 µm) captures brilliant and crisp quality images for accurate defect review.

QX100i™ offers high value, flexible AOI inspection and is an ideal solution for pre-reflow inspection and selective solder applications. Also, on display is the QX100™ tabletop AOI system with true, inline performance. All CyberOptics’ AOI systems are powered by AI2, giving you the power to inspect ‘ANYTHING’ without having to anticipate defects or predefine variance. AI2 offers precise discrimination even with excessive variance and delivers accurate results with just one example. All this means lowest false calls, zero escapes and minimal tuning. 

The SE500ULTRA™ is the world’s fastest SPI system at 210cm2/sec offering an optional dual illumination sensor to further enhance repeatability and reproducibility on the smallest paste deposits.
