Electronics Industry Upgrades its Tech[know]ledgy at IPC APEX EXPO 2015

Mar 19, 2015

From a critical combination of the latest technology and knowledge to access to solutions and subject matter experts, IPC APEX EXPO® 2015 provided the information, exchange and connections that helped 4,105 attendees from 42 countries prepare for the future. Four hundred and forty-eight exhibitors encompassing 143,500 sq. ft. of show floor space welcomed a busy three days of qualified leads, business development and sales. IPC APEX EXPO 2015 attracted 9,027 total visitors including attendees and exhibitor personnel.

Preliminary post-show survey feedback from attendees is very positive. More than 90 percent of respondents said the show met or exceeded their top objectives. In addition, nearly 70 percent of respondents have indicated that attending the show influences their buying decisions throughout the year — an important factor for many of the show’s exhibitors, like Jeff Mogensen, general manager, Americas, PARMI USA. “IPC APEX EXPO 2015 was the best show ever! With 35 confirmed appointments two weeks prior to the show, we expected a busy three days and IPC APEX EXPO delivered. We hosted more than 200 customers, doubling our sales leads from the previous year, which we considered a huge success. And logistically, from planning to implementation, the show was stress free – you just can’t ask for anything more than that.”

Jeff Timms, CEO and general manager -- Americas, at ASM Assembly Systems concurs, “Speaking on behalf of ASM Assembly Systems, APEX EXPO 2015 was the most successful show we have participated in for the Americas in more than a decade. We had many groups of serious customers at our booth right up through the very last hour of the last day of the show, yielding twice the number of leads over prior years."

Show attendees also achieved what they sought from the event, “I have found that IPC APEX EXPO is the best place to connect and learn about both present and future processes, and equipment and technology advances. I always look forward to attending the show as it is important to ‘keep in touch’ with industry,” said Dale Lovell, chief engineer, Innovative Circuits, Inc.

In 2016, IPC APEX EXPO moves to the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, March 15–17. For additional information, visit www.IPCAPEXEXPO.org.
