Europlacer continues to expand is direct sales activity by opening new offices in Italy. Operations in Italy will be the responsibility of Aljosa Krasevec, who has been working with Europlacer for almost 10 years.
International Sales Manager Steve Farragher said, “Aljosa starting working with me shortly after I joined Europlacer in 2005, in his home Country of Slovenia. Since then he has had phenomenal success, having been our best performing Distributor on several occasions. Aljosa can accredit his achievements to a full understanding of our products as he is a qualified and very experienced engineer; this undoubtedly gives him a real affinity with our customers. I cannot think of anyone else right now who I would trust more to lead the team in Italy. We already have a well-stablished customer base throughout the country, all of whom will benefit from Aljosa’s experience and knowledge.”
Europlacer Italia S.R.L. has its registered office in Milan, together with a local customer support engineer, operations will be controlled from Trieste, with administration and customer support also working from this office.

Additionally, Europlacer has recently invested in other areas of direct sales activity by opening an office in Germany and expanding the facility in Shanghai, China.
Europlacer has been developing machines for electronics assembly since the 1970s and invented the intelligent feeder concept in the 1980s. After acquisition by Blakell Europlacer in 1991, the company moved away from split-axis to the inherently more capable X-Y architecture that underpins the company’s machines today. Europlacer’s policy has been to ensure wherever possible that technology purchased many years ago, especially feeders, remain compatible with the latest equipment. Europlacer designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of highly flexible SMT placement systems for the global electronics industry.
